I completely appreciate the difficulty of the assignment, and of course you did the best possible work under the clients requirements. The image is beautifully done as usual.
But I have to wonder what the point is (from the perspective of the organizers and sponsors,) of this poster even existing. The logo-ing is so dominant that this ceases to be anything but a cingular/vans/samsung ad. Is it supposed to promote the tour? If they toned down the logos, and emphasized the event more, would it become useless to them? Does this kind of advertising (the poster, not the tour) allow cingular to reach some demographic they would otherwise miss? Is it supposed to make the sponors seem cool, by co-opting the concert poster form for a print ad?
