  I saw some Hawkwind documentary where they claimed to have some pedal that emitted the shit-your-pants frequency, and claimed to have used it to great success. I don't believe it but it's a good story.

If you play a riff that is heavy enough, you should be able to achieve the same effect.
The 16-minute track on side B of the Melvins "Eggnog," played live, ought to do it, if anything can.
