I'm glad you guys dig it. thanks a bunch. As far as the sponsers go, it seemed like a no brainer. But yeah, putting corporate logos on shit always seems to validate the job for me. I like art that serves a utilitarian purpose. None of that art for arts sake crap for me....Allright that's not true. rock posters are the perfect blend of both.

I banged out quick but it was fun. The jpeg doesn't do it justice but it's color is kinda ugly regardless. It was a 3 color uv screen print. The 4th colr was made with the orange and green prinitng on top of each other. I didn't make it dark enough in this jpeg. it's more like a medium to dark brown. the yellow is neonish with pearlecent powder mixed.

Peelander-z Poster - Grog Shop, Cleveland - Jake Kelly

The creature is awesome. The textures/ feathering/shading is perefect. The super hero and buildings I'm not digging as much. Buit still sweet. Plus Peelander-Z is harlarious. iF they come back to my town I'll try and do a poster.

Damn that's too bad... This is still amazing. Looks like you're getting tighter all the time. What colors would it have been?

This is funny. I just found this in the randomizer. I did the exact same thing with the damn satelite ding. Check it out: http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y57/skugs/abbsci.jpg
at least I tweaked it out a bit. But yeah using easily recognized dings gets lame. I did up another version that was way cooler but the client liked the dingbat version. The fonts I used are shit as well. I ain't gonna submit that one. :) Heres what the other version looked like:
