  yeah maybe i don't know shit. wouldn't be the first time i heard that.

maybe formula band wasn't the right term. i just know that Malcolm McLaren saw what was going on in NYC and went back to the UK and put the pistols together. he even had vivienne westwood making them costumes to wear.

the ramones just kinda happened.

the sex pistols were a formula band. the ramones were real punk.
