Globe Poster sent me one of these when I was doing ART OF ROCK.
It's been bootlegged and reprinted a gazillion times, tho.
Globe's inks could be seen for blocks. Too bad so few original prints exist from this era. Sometimes they pop up on itsonlyrocknroll.com auctions, for biiiiiiiiiiiig bucks.
He's busy being denied admission to the FISTFUL OF ROCK book (print version).
Apparently his posters don't rock hard enuf, or aren't being done for hard rockin' bands. And his body of work is too large, and he's been doing it for too long. Guess the folks at Dark Horse are all over his case. Go figger.
Bonnie MacLean was Bill Graham's wife at the time. She had been doing the chalkboard announcements at the front of the Fillmore for about a year. When Wes Wilson and Graham got into a huge snit about the posters (the money which Wilson wasn't getting), Bonnie stepped in and handled the work for about nine months, until other artists joined in creating 'em.
