  I'm off the booze, actually.

Since tyhe background seems to draw the most attention, here's how i did it, and then how I should have done it...

I made some squiggly lines with pencil behind the figure, and then decided which direction to make some hatching and filled in the open spaces, and cross hatched for extra emphasis.

What I should have done, time saving wise, was do all the hatching first, then go back with white ink with the squiggles.
