Usually in these about me sections of websites, there's a bunch of self-serving embellished stories about how great they are or how their company is so legit that you'd be an idiot not to use them. I can't bring myself to do it so instead I'll tell you what I do and you decide for yourself if working with Scotty Roller Designs is a good move.
I love hunting, fishing and camping all year long. Pine trees and the outdoors is a free slice of paradise. I like taking my Airstream trailer to national parks all across the country with my wife and son. I love baseball. My wife and I grew up in Anaheim, California and so Angels baseball is a religion to us. I still love spaghetti and homemade sauce on Sundays. I don't watch much television but when I do it's old black and white reruns from the 50's and 60's or Duck Dynasty. Not much in between. Reading is great too. I have read every Elvis book written as well as every book on the Kennedy assasination. I still think Oswald did it.
I love music even though my hearing is so bad now that it makes it tough to listen to it for very long. I've played in a band since I was 15, and still today I am in two bands, The Saddle Tramps (which I've been in for 14 years) and Them Sonsabitches (has been around almost 2 years). I toured with the Tramps for 13 years aggressively across the U.S. and Europe.
I love art. In high school I used to draw keg party fliers and get paid to do it or would trade for stuff. In 1992 I got my first paid freelance art job. I've freelanced since then and in 2007 made it full time when I opened this studio. I've incorporated everything I learned in music, and the posters and fliers I've done for years as well as all the things I've learned and done with band merchandise. I wrote the book on band merch. Literally. Scotty Roller Designs is a graphic art studio and merch studio where bands come to get band merch designed and made that sells, as well as show posters that are every bit collectible as they are functional. In a nutshell, I'm the poster and t-shirt guy.
I've been berated by Jerry Lee Lewis and had cocktails with Lemmy Kilmister. I'm bonafide.
