the bubble process
Thanks to all you excellent artists for participating in another successful Flatstock.
Cheers to the brave noobs who made this their first! Trial by fire (or in this case, water.)
On behalf of API and all the artists, I want to extend deep gratitude to Ron Vinion and our veteran crew of volunteers, without whom...

Thanks for a fun first Flatstock, guys, rain and all. I'll see you all again at SXSW.
Oh man, I'm getting on that roof next year, that looks like a good time
my bum knee forced me to pass up the roof. was a real hoot this year though!
Cheers for the good times everyone. I see no reason not to do it next year. Unless I'm sat next to the same guy on the flight home again.
Some press for Flatstock...

great time, nice photos, and hope to see you all next year...thanks dan and everyone : )
As usual Gina you are half wrong -- I didn't read your original post (first above) clearly enough and I was thinking the whole time the benefit would be for the API, not GP. And I still have a bunch of the prints.
Here's the breakdown:
I gave the API vols 20 prints. They sold about a dozen for $10 each last I checked in with them midday Sunday. They gave me forty bucks for my API dues but I bought myself the Rock Paper Show book instead, which I'm loving the hell out of.
I sold ten posters, also at $10 each (shockingly, one lady bought 5), and went tradesies with a few poster goons too (shoulda done more of that).
I've collected $142 from participants. Tuffy and Weird Beard both paid $20 coz they're sweet like that.
Please email me if you participated and didn't get a poster. I tried to get everybody but I wasn't actually keeping track. Which would have been really easy to do with a misprint and a sharpie.
Also, let the record show that there are 69 of these prints total. I had them all numbered but on Friday they all got wet along the left edge along with a bunch of other prints I had in the same portfolio case.
So I went to the shop after Flatstock (well after pizza with some sweet poster goons) and cut off the 1/2" white margin/border that was around the whole thing. That saved nearly all the prints (the water hadn't crept in too far yet) and people tend to agree they looked better after which is cool. The numbers got chopped off though and I didn't want to have to write them in on someone's square so I just left 'em unnumbered. AREN'T YOU GLAD YOU BOTHERED TO READ THAT?
I'll post an actual photo in like a month or something.
