Dammit. Why is there no 'archive'? A national poster archive for the gigposters people that made the last 20 years fun? At some point I will be having a more suitable place (read owning a home) and at that time I want to put some time and energy into building such an archive. Everyone give me their posters and trough API set up some sort of a museum/archive.

Was just cleaning out my refrigerator and got rid of a shit-load of condiments- it reminded me of this thread. It was quite satisfying. I found like 3 half bottles of Worcestershire sauce, and like 50 different hot sauces. When i moved from San Francisco to Providence I trashed a ton of old prints and other artwork. It was hard at first but once the first print was in the dumpster I could hardly stop myself. Sooo many wannabe hot sauces.

i'm about to move out of the country again and am doing the same thing.
if anyone in the houston area is interested, i'd be happy to arrange some sort of grab bag situation, like, any 3 posters for $20 or something. send me a PM if you're interested. there's a ton of stuff i just can't afford to lug around any more as much as i love 'em.

Shit tons of flatstock posters. This shit just takes up so much space and I'm tired of moving it all.

    What would you do?
I'm in the same boat. I feel bad tossing it all but I'm never going to sell the majority of it and I'll likely never do another Flatstock. I hate to just toss it all but I don't know of a better option. Likely heading to the recycle facility this weekend.

Realizing you've burned hundreds, possibly thousands, of dollars and hours on prints you'll never sell- priceless.

why don't you guys do some random tube sales? 5-10 prints in a tube for $20 + shipping or something like that. people get your prints, you clear up some shelf space...it's a win - win for everybody.
