thx again, folks.
I got word that all 75 of the show copies sold out at the show last night, so grab one from me before they are gone forever!
Art, I didn't print this one, but have tried something like that on a couple of my posters that I did print and it is indeed a cool effect.
I used straight silver, transparent, metallic hosuepaint base type stuff for the smoke on this one and it came out cool. You cant even see it in some light and then when it hits the light you see it shimmer.

next time you might want to try using a pearescent powder in a clear base instead of the metallic. that way you get an invisible texture that shows up as an oilslick rainbow color that travels through the otherwise invisible texture. it can look way cool over something like this. i tried it on a poster that used the same color scheme and it was a knock out. think on it some.
thx friends! Show is tonight and long sold out. If you're going to the show, be sure to pick one up.
Art, this a jpg comp, the blue/green is actually a touch darker in "real life." Looks swell.
18" x 24", 5 colors (the textured layer is metallic gold) and masterfully printed by D&L in an edition of 200.
