perkinsSend perkins a message :   I was told recently that the brown note does exist, and that it's exact frequency had been pinpointed.   2008-02-26 12:10:55
MrBlonde7Send MrBlonde7 a message :   Tell that to my last pair of Levi's.   2008-02-26 12:06:10
Beto RamirezSend Beto Ramirez a message :   It has to be the note listened in the right situation, right hour, right moment and right volume. Once, i hallucinated listening to Pearl Jam's "Black", falling down to the floor and starting laughing without control, in extasis, feeling the vibe on all over my arms. I do not use drugs. Music is magic, not a myth.   2008-02-26 12:06:09
art chantrySend art chantry a message :   maybe the "brown note" doesn't exist. but what about the "high" note?   2008-02-26 12:03:08
art chantrySend art chantry a message :   according to the neocons, that is actually what they did.   2008-02-26 12:00:09

art chantrySend art chantry a message :   a friend of mine swears the first time she saw sonic youth play (early sonic youth, not the "art band" of today) - she hallucinated.
she became an instant fan.

B-DROIDSend B-DROID a message :   The brown note is a myth that has been busted by Mythbusters. It DOESN'T EXIST!!!   2008-02-26 11:54:07
crosshairSend crosshair a message :   I saw some Hawkwind documentary where they claimed to have some pedal that emitted the shit-your-pants frequency, and claimed to have used it to great success. I don't believe it but it's a good story.
If you play a riff that is heavy enough, you should be able to achieve the same effect. The 16-minute track on side B of the Melvins "Eggnog," played live, ought to do it, if anything can.

art chantrySend art chantry a message :   the pentagon and the cia were working with "infrasound" concepts as early as the 60's. the idea of ultra-low frequency cannons mounted on vehicles could be turned onto crowds to induce seizures and loss of bodily control (aka - shit yer pants.) that supposedly actually tried it out, but had to abandon it when the operators of the devices also spazzed.
good stuff. we should try that again at a rock concert...

Brad KlausenSend Brad Klausen a message :   Tesla also figured out that there is a frequency that al life resonates on, the pulse of the earth, 7.83 Hz, that is caused by the Schuman Cavity in the ionosphere. He realized that you can manipulate this frequency by sending charged particles into the ionosphere and alter, not only the weather, but you can alter the mental state of entire populations. 10.8 Hz causes riotous behavior...6.6 Hz causes depression. Tesla was worried this information would fall into the wrong hands...and it did. In Alaska there is a project called HAARP run by the US governmnet..."ELF waves produced from HAARP, when targeted on selected areas, can weather-engineer and create mood changes affecting millions of people". Tesla's discoveries yet again being used to manipulate humanity instead of help it.   2008-02-26 11:41:44
art chantrySend art chantry a message :   this is a photo of tesla's giant coil tower that he used to try to charge the atmosphere. his theories said that we could have free electricity from the atmosphere, simple by locking on to it. imagine electrical machinery that works without batteries or even without plugging it in to a circuit. it's actually possible, but the empowered interests don't approve because you can't centrally control the money and distribution (or so the story goes). when tesla died, the contents of his safe vanished mysteriously. his only notes.
when he powered up this item on this poster, it coincided with the tongusta explosion. many teslas-ites think it was the cause.
