I can't tell you how much I LOVE every comment... snarky or not. This was indeed, admittedly, an intentional knockoff of the Neil Young poster. I'm only sorry if I didn't do it justice as I was working from memory. The musical artist, Jimy Rogers was a living and seemingly ageless tribute to the 60s scene, when he himself was a minor rockstar, and this celebration of his comeback deserved an homage like this. I never realized until now that there was any discussion of this poster, I'm just sorry I didn't catch it sooner. Feel free to bust me for my other attempts to counterfeit great work, which I truly love to do.

There's a shitload of thought behind the concept of that Darkness poster. It has everything to do with representing that particular band and its music in the most appropriate manner. That image is purposely exaggerated to accent the joke...not just stolen.

When this was first posted I was gonna say something about it being like Jermaine's stuff (color combo, lettering) but I figured "Why Bother?" It's a poorly done rip. The only thing missing is "Meridian" under the word "Blue."

Jermaine's poster was brilliant in concept and PERFECT for a band that is itself a parody. it was also an obvious joke from one big name in poster design to another. This one is just ripping someone else's art and adapting it to their own purpose...and a shitty job of it at that. Not funny, just a rip.
