'fraid so. I'm about to go off like a BOMB!
:P I didn't want to be the first to say it.
Is this multi-page thread thing bugging anybody else?
2 stories of cool.
I remember the murals on the side of the building, but i was never in the place.
Like I said, i'm not cool.
Northern Lights. damn! I used to skip school to trek downtown to buy import vinyl there. I had forgotten about that place.
they have HOT threads
i was happier when block e was just a parking lot. i miss northern lights and that one pizza place right next to the entry. how come jj flash hasn't been pushed out yet?
The 24 pack was just to hold them over until it was happy hour at the 90's.
You had a look of eager anticipation on your face.
Do guys do the happy hour tour?
Oh, and the 2 gay bars on our block are ok too. We haven't been to the 2 strip bars, however. They may be great as well.
That box was filled with 24 bottles of Leinekugels.
If feels weird carrying a case of beer to work at 9:30 in the morning.
Downtown is boring. There are some fun hobos though.
I blame Norm Coleman.
The only thing I can say good right now is the building I work in shares an alley with Pizza Luce. Pizza by the slice EVERY DAMN DAY!
I liked it when block E was a bunch of seedy bars, strip joints, head shops and hookers. At least it was interesting visually. Now it's like browsing a stock photography web site as far as people watching is concerned.
I have no idea what cool is. I can't afford to do anything downtown is my biggest beef.
I hate that The Hard Rock Cafe and the restaurant at the other end of the block BOTH pipe loud music outside. You can hear them both at the same time competing for your ear's attention. Obnoxious.
downtown is boring now, with all the olive gardens and strip malls. i wish we could pick up first ave and move it somewhere cooler or better yet make all that other crap go away.
I saw one of the AA boys carrying a box this morning. 9:30ish.
Block E is a giant festering neon pustule.
I was sitting outside today near First Ave. on that fancy new "Block". First Ave. looked really out of place. I hope it doesn't go a way.
I think the Big Wu are just stinky.
i have nostalgia for Vanity.
Prince is in a category all his own.
I wouldn't call him a funkster.
We must unite against this funkster threat!!
What about Prince?
Wait, did he move to Canada?
from what I understand, they're more 'jam band' than funk.
what about the big wu? aren't they funky? i really have no idea.
I had no idea Minneapolis had 'funksters'.
