Zach and Steve are simply pointing out that the style you are working on here is really close to other artists in your city that have staked out idiosyncratic looks through a lot of work. If you want your work to stand on its own, it takes a lot of experimentation and examination and lots and lots of work. Lou Reed said its hard Growing up in public, and I'd agree. As goofy as this site can get people posting here are helping you and not just being negative. These gallery forums can be a great way to crit the work that we all do, as well as discussing important topics like bacon. |
