Thanks, guys...yeah, that's mine too. I intially created that as a "teaser" graphic for a handbill last year. It sorta beacme the logo by default.
Now that I think about it, it would've worked without it, but whatever. 'Tis done.
vanmar's gonna give me shizz for saying this about fonts but I've recently started using this font on some corporate work here and there. it works real nice and I have never used it on a poster. it's cool cause it's fresh to my customers and I don't feel like I'm using something played out. Al you and I have some of the same taste in fonts I think. Now bury it and get your swerve on and sipp on some syzurp.
Thanks, guys. I'm thinking unless it's really relevant, I'm not gonna use this typeface on any of my posters after this. It's there because not only do I like it, but that's a Warner Brothers record in the background (Bill Cosby's "Sings Golden Throat"), a frequent user of Hellenic Wide back in the day. Tenuous reasoning, sure, but that's my story and I'm sticking to it. :)
I fell for this typeface by hanging out here and wanted to use it on a couple posters, and now I've done that.
I'm in my Hobo period now.
