I dont know benjamy,I got to the show at 6, doors opened at 7. I went straight to the merch booth, didnt see any posters until i got close enough to see them on the back of the door, if you just walked by and glanced in you wouldnt have spotted them. I ended up getting #16, saw plenty of other people throughout the night w/posters also. After the first band ended, I checked the booth, not sure if any posters were left but the one that was on the door was still hanging, but after deadsy even it was gone. jr, rhis poster is awesome! cant wait to see the rest of the run, also, the deftones friggin rocked the fillmore! the building was shaking!!
wow, thanks for clearing that up capt. obvious.
lesson learned. get there 2 hours early.

the promoter did not make a poster for this show. there were 50 of these posters made. 10 were given to the band. the rest were sold at the merch booth, first come first served. like any show anywhere, people go straight to the merch booth and buy stuff. the posters sold very quickly. no conspiracy. no extras. no secrets. a few lucky people got to purchace a poster, the rest is history. same goes for the other shows. get there early and buy a poster, if not buy a t-shirt and enjoy the show.

first of all, your argument makes even less sense in light of the fact this show was at the FILLMORE, which has a 35 year history of making a thousand or more posters for every show, and only having a few of those at the show, and only giving the artist a handful..
(what happened to all the rest?)
recently, they have become less srict and all that.. but why should you go to a show and expect the poster to be there for you? most posters go to the promoters and the bands, they decide what to do with them.
well well First off ... yawn.
second ... its not a personal offence against jermaine...
third ...i did get there pretty early and when asked if there was a poster at the merch table they said no and i didnt see anyone with a poster.
fourth ... i dont pretend to fucking know anything about the business behind what you all have created here. I'm not sorry for getting pissed. I didn't know the facts but what i do know about is what seems to make sense to me. and for your reading pleasure, here it is:
Why 50? why not all? and if there are any left over after the show THEN you sell those on your site.
This probably happens this way all the time, I just saw this poster and REALLY fuckin liked it, got pissed and said something about it.
Gil, dude I still got your keys. Im looking at them RIGHT NOW.
Im in Manitou: I went hiking through Garden Of The Gods today. Thought I saw Richie, but the guy had on an Alcoholics Anonymous shirt and I figgered it couldnt be Richie.
Because blanket accusations on this site may actually make some of the newcomers here question my poster scruples, I guess I kinda have to respond:
-Yes, I have a sustained contract for with the DEFTONES for this tour and some other things. There are approx. 7 more posters left to go in this particular series.
-I do the posters and then send em where the band wants them. Its like an integral part of me getting paid.
-These posters were at the Fillmore, BenJamy: were YOU there? There were 50 of them at the show, signed and numbered. Mgmt. emailed me that they sold out in around 3 minutes.
BenJamy probably just came late to the show and didnt get a chance to see them before they sold out. Im going to give him the benefit of the doubt and not accuse him of anything negative....cause that wouldnt be real cool and kinda slanderous, even. Might even get me hit with some libel thing...I mean, it could affect his business.
you guys are ruining it for me.
i find it hard to believe jr doesn't have first dibs on this show. funny how it's for the fillmore too.
this is a fantastic image! homerun.
totally works as a gigposter for me!
so if its not posted around town to advertise the show and its not available AT the fuckin show... why even put the fuckin show info on the fuckin poster??
um...................................................didnt see this there.................. lame. super duper fuckin lame. its just a fuckin business........ huh? lame.
