We had a full size Tempest in our house and my parents would keep me up all night as they played it non stop trying to beat each other's high score. When we would go to Chuck E. Cheese for a birthday party my Mom would drop a quarter and play the arcade Tempest for a half hour and triple the existing high score on it. All the kids would gather round and watch her. Too funny.
