Ripe poster. Extreme contrast between image and type-- in terms of scale. Found throughout most heads of state poster. They look like big posters.

This was done through Summerstage's corporate sponsor. I 100% agree with you, the original incarnation had Talvin Singh and Asha Puthli (the headliners) in the circle but i think there was alot of politicing between the sponsor and the various acts and it was decided to do it this way. Out of our control, luckily the sponsor was very hands off in the design process which is a rare thing.
Thanks for the nice words folks. Had alot of fun doing this one, different for us as far as posters go.
