just saw a variant of this. the pink was purple and had pink swirled into it that must have been done with wayne dripping a lighter color of ink right on to the open areas of the screen.

I really don't think $677 is that much for this ya know? It's a huge chunk o cash I couldn't throw down right now and it's certainly way more than what most other gigposters go for but if you look at buying prints from galleries then you're probably paying thousands and alot of times it's for editions of like 1000 or something.

Peveto could answer that question much better than I but from what I understand... Wayne made them all for promotion.. none were made for sale. he would send them ahead to the venues and the record stores etc.. often modifying them for different dates by hand with glitter, crayon etc.. just crazy. There were only like 100-150 made at the most of any of them.

Gotr my first one (the Lolapalooza) at Sound Exchange about 8 years ago and started looking for them . Picked up a few from Dustin and soem from a friend in OKC. One or two from one of The Lips old roadies. I just lucked out and got them all as far as I knoe. took about 7 years I guess. I heard he only ever made 50 of any of them and most got hung. Finding a "mint" one is even more rare than finding one at all.

Ebay baby. They pop up maybe every other month. Not this specifically but I've seen everyone I have up there at one time or two. I got mine from a friend of Wayne's but I have that freaky Okie connection. These are so amazing in person. Huge and the registration is so fucked it's beautiful. Mark you should come by and check these out sometime. Got 'em all up high on the wall...
