"Some people wouldn't get it without the 'ben folds' line, but for those who did it would really click in a great way."
Yeah but since it's supposed to advertise the show maybe you don't want to take chances on the intelligence, cleverness or design sensibility of the average concert goer.
If that's not the intention you shouldn't be making gigposters, you should be doing art prints or fine art.
I do like this poster.Alot.
nice but I wanna see the type at the bottom jump and dance. The visual pun doesn't bother me, but sonce some feel it's literal, maybe the line "ben folds" in black at the bottom isn't needed? Some people wouldn't get it without the 'ben folds' line, but for those who did it would really click in a great way.
Slater. We aren't able to make it to Flatstock this time around. We're aiming for the next one.
Seripop. It is a pretty literal poster, but we feel it fits the band, tour and audience...so we decided to run with it and are very happy with the outcome.
Whatever Mikey, you're just using our leftover "special" mix gold...and by special mix we mean PMS 874. Maybe we could have a gold and black themed poster show. Someone make sure to get ahold of Slater about this one. That kid kills for gold metallic screen printing.
"does rich do all of your screen printing?"
No, this is the first one. We took your advice and tried'em out. Like I said before, we couldn't be happier. We actually fired our screen-printer after the last poster run and needed this done ASAP and Da'Bunny hooked it up...and hooked it up quick.
