yeah, the yellows hard to read, maybe you should have made your website yellow, and the bands blue... then it wouldn't matter that it's so big. Nice illo and color choice, but where's the "k"?
I don't agree that the designer credit is off balance. Perhaps true the credit itself should be more subtle (or even non-existant), but it balances quite well with the cowboy's right hand. I think folks are smelling a tiny ooze of blood and going into a frenzy of criticism that isn't necessarily warranted.
Just so happens this is a pretty strong poster -- iconic, well placed, cleverly executed through color, without any hard contour outlines. It does it's job and it does it well.
My own quibbles are with color selection for some of the text...sure, there's always something to critique. Other than that I like it!
youve got this centered imagery, and then that last credit (to yourself) is way off balance... not just in size but its off to the right? Zach be correct on this one. You are getting a lot of comments however because it did catch eyes, so keep at it.
this is the first time we ever had the name of the company that big. but come on guys...clearly the poster artist is more important than the supporting acts. everyone HERE should know that.
I really didn't think the poster is that spectacular. The illustration seems almost incomplete. . . sort of quickly thrown together.
The frames seem pretty heavy too. Oh, multiply multiply.
I can handle it when the poster is really good. I guess seeing a website forr an artist on a poster for a band seems like a conflict of interest.
and i'm not opening a can of worms here. just fishin
