Last show I know of was January 20th 2009 at SOB's in NYC. I would assume he is still alive.

my ex used to work for some company did something with payphones. he saw a girl shoot a ping pong ball out of her hoo-haa at that strip joint sort of attached to that stretch of buildings.

south st. in general reeks to high heaven. inside's alright. plus the old fashioned black and white tile kinda makes me happy.

i forget the name of the club at about...40th & Market in philadelphia, next to a steak joint, kind of stand alone brick club. that's where i saw Gil Scott-Heron, a long time ago, '92 maybe? so good, he was sober and kick ass.
Whitey's on the moon. I think he played the tin angel last time I heard he was around. I went to see the Meatmen at the Khyber instead.
