GoonTownKillerSend GoonTownKiller a message :   I also immediately thought of the Hess poster when I saw the thumbnail. But, it doesn't distract one tiny bit from the awesomeness of this poster. I love this one. The colors are magnificent. The layout and concept are amazing. This is superfine. Definitely one of the best pieces on here in a while.   2005-06-24 11:32:05

And strawberryluna, these are my nice fingers holding this fine piece.

krauseSend krause a message :   ...i think you all know the pink floyd video with the hammer army... this was my first idea ... after designig and printing this poster. and now i know the parralels to derek, and must say--- i like it! hess is one of my favorite designers, and i met him some times ago in munich (AOMR-poster-show)   2005-06-21 14:28:02
EwingSend Ewing a message :   This is really nice. I think comparing the Hess Hammerhead and this poster is a stretch though. Could have just been a completely independent thought and not inspired by Hess. But I didn't daw this so I can't speak for Lars. Lars is always killing it. Plus that's my Datsuns poster in the bground!   2005-06-21 11:19:30
FLIPPERFINSSend FLIPPERFINS a message :   Very nice Lars. Well laid out and conceived. Great border and lettering. The only element that seems a bit "touchy" is that I think Hess did a Hammerhead image before. I know I've seen something similar before. That's the problem with this site sometimes. A really cool concept image will come to you, but it came into your subconscience from another image. That's not a slam on you or the piece, the poster is terrific. It's almost impossible to have an original thought after spending so much time on this site. As a matter of fact, now I just noticed that he has DaVinci's Statue of David's dingaling. So, it's all good.   2005-06-21 10:57:59
