erickSend erick a message :   it's sort of four color process. Except I use the exact same halftone for all colors and aren't using process inks. so yellow, transparent blue, red, and black. The black halftone is the only one that's different. It just sort of accentuates the letters and some of the darker spots.
again, thanks guys... I've been not so confident about my stuff lately. Your comments really help a lot!

caribouSend caribou a message :   this may be a dumb question, but what 4 colors did you use? are there several variations of color in the text?   2005-04-28 08:26:48
erickSend erick a message :   thanks guys.
Placing the type on the sign would've been fun. Unfortunately, the photo is a few years old, so I had to rely on the old "Church Billboard Typeset" filter. 17X20 (or something like that) 4 color action.

caribouSend caribou a message :   the "L" in sleep is the only letter that really stood out as odd to me. anyways, i like the poster.   2005-04-28 07:11:11
vastaghSend vastagh a message :   nice minimalist approach.
i bet it was an adventure setting htose letters up.
that is, assuming you actually placed the type on the sign and not some photoshop tomfoolery.
