the old sea monkeys was a masterpiece in misleading juvenile advertising. little kids thought they'd be getting li'l water pet humanoids. tiny bacteria-like shrimp, more like!

Thanks Kurt!!! Yeah, I drew this. After pencilling it (using an original 70's Sea Monkeys ad as reference) I inked it with a brush.

I just read these comments, thanks to everyone. I'm glad that the "sick modern twist" was noticed. I wanted it to be something that people saw after they looked at it for a couple of seconds. This was a really fun piece to do (even the cheesy Helvetica copy). Thanks Again, Dave
