what a fucking awesome show. A lot of people came out, and apocalyptic fun was had by all.
HOF played almost all new material. Fantasticly huge!
I brought half of this poster run and sold them all too, which was really nice.
So, got about 30 of these left.
Holy Crapola! This is so sweet. I once read when someone writes and the letters are leaning backward it was a sign they might be crazy... how fitting for this bill. Creepy illustration (the highest of compliments) and it is really hightened by that red. Fan-fucking-tastic
I really appreciate the comments about having the poster fit the band's sound, it's always a concern for me.
I'm trying to land some poster jobs for some country style acts, and I don't know exactly what I'll do, but I know it would be very different from this.
I bet it bugs me more. It doesn't just bug me... it makes me hostile. Mostly because I feel people take the most liberties with metal and hardcore bands. I always feel like it is some kind of slap in the face. Like people think they can dictate to those scenes what they SHOULD be into visualy rather than what actually works.
Dave deserves his sucess more than anybody. He worked hard for it. The whole Squad 19 crew is high on my list of inspiration over the last year. Good stuff all around.
