i like lichtenstein's stuff that had nothing to do with comic panels. his giant brush strokes and his landscapes with the dot patterns are great. his comic stuff was pretty bad. he couldn't copy very well. dale just plain rules at everything he does, and he has at least four very different and very recognizable styles. that's all there is to it.

Ugh...Beto, no offense at all, but comic book panels don't automatically = Lichtenstein! He wasn't even that good at it! I'm just sick of everyone dropping that name whenever panels or talk balloons are used.

this is great! vaz is on the bill too? i saw paul from vaz on the street in williamsburg last weekend. he stayed at my house a few times, three of four years ago. i said "hey paul!" he didn't look up, just kept walking. story of my life.
