thanks everybody. this was another collab between aaron horkey and myself. Aaron did all the hand lettering, which he does the old fashioned way, with a ruler and plenty of time, the way he does all his stuff. i provided the rest. color choices and seps, the images pulled from popular mechanics circa 1900-1910. The main image is the biggest transformer at the time, i'm sure dwarfed by todays standards. i wanted something old yet electric looking, you know with the magnetics and fields and all. so i did the rest of the layout. yup. the orange is actually bronze on the real thing. and i have to say building a new light table and getting a pressure washer has really helped. I can now print halftones at like 35 lines per inch. ok, I'll stop now.
