I used this as an example of a conversation that was happening in one of the threads about "taking clipart and making into something of your own." The black image is a spot illustration in an old dictionary of "The coronation crown of Queen Victoria." I enlarged the fuck out of it, photocopied it onto acetate, cut it up and rearranged the information, and burned the frankensteined piece of acetate onto a screen. I love the ambiguity of the result. Maybe it is a viking dude with a bra on his head... the point is no one can say "hey, that's from that old Webster's dictionary!"
