art chantrySend art chantry a message :   the nerves were an extremely early punk band from LA. they were selling punk records back in 1972!
they had a regional hit that was later covered by blondie called "hangin' on the telephone".
they nerves were really great band. totally obsucre, but really great.
not the same as the contemporary band called the nerves. i doubt the new band had any idea that there was a primal la punk band in the early-mid 70's with the same name.		   2004-01-05 09:11:08
