Interesting info. Yeah- they sucked, but when I was 12 years old I thought they were awesome. My little sister loved them- and the Rockers. I could only imagine how boring it would be to watch those matches now.

Bushwackers weren't really from Australia. They were from the Inland Empire in CA...fyi. Bushwacker Luke was a highschool swim coach. I've got some tapes with Bushwackers matches on them. In hindsight it's some of the worst professional wrestling ever. Really bad in a not very entertaining way. All the stomping around and licking. Their oppenents clear the ring for 5 minutes at a time to allow for stomping and licking.

What's so phallic about it? They're just half naked men with long, wood boomerangs (also known as BANGarangs in some places) and a well dressed chap looking rather possessive and a myserious case at his feet with god knows what strange things inside. Okay, very phallic. Best Rizzaks poster yet. I like it.
