thanks, dale! this thing is supposed to be reminiscent of her debut album's cover. that record was one of about five records we had in the house when i was a kid. my dad loved that record. but he thought dylan was "a pinko liberal." needless to say, me playing a dead kennedys tape on the home stereo before catching the bus in seventh grade didn't go over too well in the household. i made this poster mainly so i can give one to my dad. he would "get" this one.
mimi baez, she married this poet guy richard farina and they made these sort of experimental folk records. she's a really talented guitar player and he played some weird verison of the hammer dulcimer and later died in a motorcycle wreck. this poster is beautiful by the way.
