Wow...I never heard that stuff, I own a couple Redd Kross records and they're as far from punk as could be. I own "Third Eye" and "Phaseshifter. "Third Eye" is like bubble gum pop and Phaseshifter is trying REAL hard to be grunge...but again it's very Pop rock. They must've really changed direction.

Redd Kross were punk back then. Annetts got the Hits? You don't know that song? They are like 14 when they started putting out records. They were a great punk band.

i'm completely unrealisitc about show prices. i still get mad when shows cost more than 5 bucks. but that's what i paid when i was 14. you know what else hasn't really changed in price? action figures.

yes, but thta book is from like 15 years ago. Pettibone is pushin 50 these days and is the darling of the 'intellectual art crowd'..I went to some exhibit in La where he had drawn all over baseball cards and stuck em on the wall. People oohed and aahed. good gimmick. hope it happens to me.

Pettibone has became a pretty important 'Real Artist' There is anew gigantic Art Book out. He's strictly museum leve these days. As for the poster...Punks and Surfers where totally at war in SoCal. for real.
