gun shoSend gun sho a message :   alpha flight was one of my favorite comic books. i even have a letter printed in #72 or 76 or something. don't remember. anyway, that is Northstar and his twin sister, Aurora. Northstar was Marvel's first openly gay superhero. yup.   2004-04-05 15:50:28
DenisMutterSend DenisMutter a message :   Yeah - Northstar & Aurora, I think. Not quite an hommage.   2004-04-05 13:56:23

DaveGinkSend DaveGink a message :   I wasn't trying to mimick any particular cover with this one: http://www.gigposters.com/posters.php?poster=10011, Just sort of going for an overall EC style look. It's all drawn from scratch.
I agree that just throwing type on an existing cover is very "lazy" design. Hopefully the artist will try a little harder on his next poster. And take these comments as constructive crits to help in the future.

mattholmes01Send mattholmes01 a message :   Let's all stop taking someone else's good art, and slapping really obviously new fonts on top.   2003-07-10 06:47:27
