Sure, I think I should be getting paid a lot more, but I have a stack of rejection letters telling me they're not willing to pay me. I'm waiting to here back from my latest volley of samples, i don't expect much.
It's getting close to a year that I've been trying to do this seriously, do art for a living. I'm a LONG ways from that point, but I'm getting paying jobs regularly now. Weekly, and they're getting bigger. I'm working on my second album cover now, for a guy self-releasing a bunch of songs he's remixed for Duluth bands.
I guarantee in a year's time I will be charging more, but not until then. I'm still really new at this.
Take a guess on the hours???
I'm not trying to judge you Dave, but I think you are worth more than you think you are. And if you don't think your work is worth anything why should someone else?
I pay my freelancers between $35.00 and $45.00 per hour generally on production work like typesetting a brochure in Quark.
I don't keep track.
I get a job and I do it, and then i start the next job.
I share a practice space with BBF.
it's worth it to me, cause i need money, and they're actually paying me. Otherwise I'm filling sketchbooks, and they collect dust, and don't do anything to put food in my fridge.
If you're willing to pay me more, let's talk. I'm taking everything I get.

Now the Shitbag is its very own bulletin board. It's lovely.
The Kooks, I think, are Amish Armada doing Misfits covers.
