CoxSend Cox a message :   Seeing this in person makes all the difference. The detail and coloring is amazing. This is probably my favorite poster out of Austin.   2003-06-17 14:13:08
PediniSend Pedini a message :   Satch hand-painted a bunch of these and sold them rediculously cheap at FS2. They are veery purty indeed.   2003-05-16 15:31:46

dspringSend dspring a message :   Even if some of the type is hand lettered it is traced from fonts that just don't go with the whole feel of this poster, this poster is still damn cool but a different font would have put it totally over the top   2003-05-14 10:40:08

stinkbaitSend stinkbait a message :   The Brown Whornet and Free Range type has to be hand rendered. the Halloween doesn't look like it. Satch is an awesome printer. he has a pile of kick ass posters.   2003-05-14 10:08:05
DeliciousSend Delicious a message :   The type is a little horsey - but other than that this poster is beautiful   2003-05-14 09:03:30
Cody PomeroySend Cody Pomeroy a message :   love the drawing, love the design..and yeah, the type does look hand done.   2003-05-14 08:04:51
perkinsSend perkins a message :   This was my most sought after piece at FS2, & I'm proud to have walked out with one. Despite the appearance, I'm pretty sure this type is hand drawn. I've stared at this thing for a while, and still can't figure out how it was printed. You can literally feel the ink like a painting, and it's on thick-ass stock. Really, really well done.   2003-05-14 08:03:27
funkytrampSend funkytramp a message :   the originality of this is striking...aside from being a beautiful poster! one of my all-time faves for sure.
don't know if you can tell, but there's all kinds of layered "texture" going on as well as hand overpainting.
as far as the text: i think it works great. looks like one of those old magazine ads where the illustrator left a blank banner for the typesetter to fill in.

maynardSend maynard a message :   Killer... great illo, style, and texture. Have to agree about the text but all in all a nicely integrated piece.   2003-05-14 02:57:19
dspringSend dspring a message :   this rules! my only complaint is with such a great image, layout and colours, the type falls short, hand drawn would have made it full on.
that said, how can I get one?
