Inn of The Beginning, I believe it's extinct now...but back in the early seventies Van Morrison tried out his new material there. Cotati is a sleepy small semi rural ex-hippie town between Petaluma & Rohnert Park CA whose town center is a park crossed with roads shaped like a peace sign from overhead...Another venue that is gone from that town is Cotati Caberet, a big barnlike ancehall, where I saw Social D in 91...Op Ivy, Los Lobos, NRBQ, Neil Young, Y&T, Jerry Garcia all gigged there in the 80's heyday of that extinct Cotati venue.
everyone sould check out todds site, http://www.killingtimestudios.com
he is mainly responsable for this one he did the art. I just did the text and ruby cutting/seps.
I just cut the ruby, layed out, and typeset this one, the main image is from Todd Barriclow, he also did the recent melvins poster with the green cars.
I have one of these too. Printed on Chipboard. It's where I first heard of Diesel Fuel. I also went to Todd's art show in Petaluma. He does some interesting stuff.
This is one of my favorites. My friend Todd Barriclow drew the image I cut the rubylith, added the text and printed it, he's fuckin' rad i wish I had his skills. Check out his site killingtimestudios.com :D
funny, when I was living in Petaluma I used to go to Inn of the Beginning, there was a good mexican place almost across the street from there if I recall. Cool to see this, thanks for posting it.
