it's the hint of vagueness that really sets this poster apart from the pack. is that dude singing or drinking from a bottle of beer? the designer brilliantly blacked out the answer so that the audience brings with them the answer...an answer that is dependent on their own state. brilliant!
...and hideous. heh.
I like, totally blew so many minds with my radical socio-political notions set to music that many left the venue that night weeping and cutting the logos off of their clothing. A select few of the converts cut out their eyes to keep the memory of the evening "pure".
Then we all reconvened at a Dunkin Donuts and made fun of "jocks".
Every one knows that the best, fastest and most permanent way to change society for the better is to play a 30 minute set of inept, 5th rate blues based guitar music with poorly sung vocals, in an uncomforatble dingy space full of
uneducated teeneagers who are drunk.
What a cool Idea! I wonder why no one has tried it before!
"the Coxheath punk scene cares more about rock, helping out the community, and making a difference than they do about the industry, posters, and dotcoms."
man, what the fuck are you talking about? Then why did you post this thing? What difference did it make to the "community"?
And if you don't care, then why are you trying to school everyone on your Russian Poster Art "influences" in the comments section of the poster you submitted NEXT TO THIS ONE?
And what industry and dotcom are you referring to? The poster "industry"?:D
Wait a minute, Are you guys straight edge? if so, never mind, that would explain everything.
And if you're not, you may want to look into it. Your defensive nature and outspoken (and self-contradictory) viewpoints would make you a leader among them.
sure is a lost cause
