nice one, dan. i was at buddy guy's friday night with some friends and there is a painting of clapton with an oddly placed unfinished palm in the middle of the painting...i told my friends it was a portrait of him pushing his kid out the window. they didn't laugh.

I collect automotive-themed concert posters, so I'll have an opinion, always. This one just seemed bland. I do appreciate the Crosshair-style 'substitution' involved. That right-side door opening sure looks odd tho. And I'm not crazy about the background. Other than that . . . carry on Mr. Gilmore.

Slowhand is a turkey. I do like this poster btw. I like the firehouse one too and it doesn't diminish my liking of this one, which is a very different presentation and feel. My only nitpick is the lower-level type, which is not as believable as "The Loners" up top.

Grushkin's referring to http://gigposters.com/poster/119337_Eric_Clapton.html which yeah packs more of a wollop. I like Skillet's too though, no fake. And Slowhand's still got it turkeys. Touring w/ Winwood in Europe til Crossroads (Chicago) and Summerfest (Milwaukee).
